CheckMate Winery is a premium Chardonnay line of wines that had rave reviews from wine enthusiasts all across the continent. The winery prides itself on bringing old age wine making and combining it with new age technologies. This resulted in the wine’s doing something unconventional and debuting online only.
The initial website was built on a combination of Umbraco and Vin65, which resulted in double the work to make changes. The staff managing the CheckMate Winery website were experiencing high bounce rates with the initial designs. This was not a recipe for success especially for an ecommerce site.
We worked diligently with the staff at CheckMate to come up with a complete redesign that stayed within their brand guidelines, featured a call-to-action on the home page, is developed on one platform, has consistent layouts of pages and was easy to navigate.
